3:16:00 AM

Hi Beautiful people,

Apologies for not updating my tools for everyday life while on my US tour here....it has been busy speaking, packing, travelling and catching up on requests for support and information. So to catch you all up on my 100 days of mental health challenge, I will do 2 omnibuses from my social media clippings (part 1 - Day 6 to 12, part 2 - Day 7 to 18) I will have proper posts of my experience here, the places i went to and the people i connected with as soon as i get home beginning of July. Keep up with daily posts on my Instagram and Facebook.

Day 6/7 - Self Appreciation (I am Flawless)

Day 8 - Service, Sharing and Speaking

Day 9 - Living my Purpose
L I V I N G M Y P U R P O S E - Day 9/ #100DaysofMentalHealth is about living one of my fav verses in this season: Esther 4:14 "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" God has appointed each and everyone of us for something, and that appointment is our royal position...Stand up and speak for the things/people you have been called to...there is so much fulfilment in living your purpose...your God given purpose #speakingengagements #mentalhealth #mymindmyfunk #mentalhealthblogger #wellness #wellnessblogger #mentalhealthmatters #mentalwellness #MentalHealthWithoutBorders #femprenuer #AfroBlogger #SitawaTravels #MMMFInvasion #MMMFInvadesUSA #mhaconf16 #fightintheopen #BibleStudy #womensbiblestudy #shereadstruth #esther #purpose

Day 10 - Gyming Anxiety
G Y M I N G A N X I E T Y ::: Day 10/ #100DaysofMentalHealth is about dealing with #anxiety and burning that energy at the gym. Today I woke up at 2a and it felt like someone had cut off my oxygen supply, my heart felt heavy and I was irritable...almost panicked but I was able to catch myself and did some inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale till my mind was a little clear to do some soul searching. One of things I have learnt is that recovery just like #salvation is an ongoing process and you need to constantly check yourself, accept where you are and make a conscious step to be better daily. For the last 13 years, I have been sick every June. This year God and I made a deal that I won't be sick and for the past 6 months I have been good and I want that to go on for the rest of my life. It is 5 days to 13years since I was sexually assaulted and I am anxious because this year we are starting the clock...forgetting that count and beginning a new one and that is scary, exciting but scary. #shereadstruth #panic #mentalhealth #SelfCheck #SelfCare #SitawaTravels #MMMFInvasion #MMMFInvadesUSA #mentalhealthmatters #mentalwellness #MentalHealthWithoutBorders #mymindmyfunk #mentalhealthblogger #wellness #wellnessblogger #AfroBlogger #KenyanBlogger #AfricanBlogger #blogger #towriteloveinherarms #toolbox #rape #endGBV #ToolsForEverydayLife

Day 11 - Mirror mirror on the Wall

Day 12 - Veganism
V E G A N I S M ::: Day 12/ #100DaysofMentalHealth is about #nutrition (what we feed our bodies and it's long term effects)...a while ago, I blogged about my change to a #vegetarian lifestyle and the positive impact to my #mentalhealth ...so you can imagine how exciting it was to attend my first #Vegan party this afternoon, meet the community out here in California and listen to David Carter, a 300 pound vegan NFL player (@the300poundvegan) speak about people of color, their food choices (or lack of) and the effects to their health. #mentalhealth #foodie #vegetarianliving #veganism #mentalhealthmatters #mentalwellness #MentalHealthWithoutBorders #mymindmyfunk #mentalhealthblogger #wellness #wellnessblogger #blogger #AfroBlogger #AfricanBlogger #KenyanBlogger #MMMFInvasion #MMMFInvadesUSA #SitawaTravels #HealthMatters #vegansofIG #whatveganseat #vegetariansofIG
